Socially Useful Productive Work

 VIGYANAMRITHU

Vigyanamrithu was a Science Fest conducted by the combined contributions of PTM College of Education and PTM Institute of Teacher Education on Science week of the year 2023. It was inaugurated by  the Panchayath President of Kottukal Panchayath on 01/03/2023. It was open to all science enthusiasts till 03/03/2023. The College also invited students from many schools to attend this programme. The College provided transport and other facilities for the students who were invited.The  B Ed students and  D. El. Ed students were given different roles to fulfill. Many committees were formed to make the programme a success. One of the main attractions of the Science fest were the exhibition conducted by the B Ed and D. El. Ed students. Many stalls were opened and that showed many exhibition items that range in different subjects. Even though it was a Science fest many cultural and ethnic models and exhibitions were made.All the students who came to watch this spectacle were mesmerized by it . It can be said that the programme was a grand success and the students of college did a flawless work.

    B Ed Science Exhibition Stall

The B Ed Science Stall exhibited different varieties of items. The B Ed departments were divided into two, the Science Departments and the Social & Language Departments. Both teams arranged works  based on their subjects with respect to the science exhibition.

The Science team consisting of Mathematics, Natural Science and Physical Science Departments did a great job in creating a Science Exhibition Stall which contain mathematical puzzles, charts, game, Terrarium, Microscope lab, Specimens , Experiments, Still models, Working Models etc.

CONCLUSION

Overall the SUPW programme "VIGYANAMRITHU" was a success and it was an experience which gave us courage, moral and capabilities to work together, to manage problems and bring out the overall best in ourselves.
