SUBJECT ASSOCIATION PROGRAMME
OORJ
Subject activity helps the students to know about the importance of the subject. These activities provides co-operation among the students. All the students are participated in these activities. It helps to develop the creativity of the students. The students will get an organizational capacity. These activities gives new knowledge about the subject and give information’s about various things.
Subject association activity contains a collection of activities from a global library that would be performed on a common subject. Students learn through their participation in the attainment of knowledge by gathering information and processing it by solving problem and articulating what they have discussed.
OORJ conducted on 6th January was the subject association programme conducted by the physical science class. It was a creative and mesmerizing for both audience and it's organizers. The programme started at 10 am sharp. It started with a prayer.Then it was inaugurated by Principal and other teacher by lighting the lamp. Dr. Sasikumar sir gave a small speech about the programme, thus giving momentum to the programme.
After the speech felicitation was done by Dr. Renjini teacher , followed by Kiranlal sir, Jaisree ma'am and at the end we invited one of the teacher trainees Akhil T( Natural Science ) both to congratulate him and to inspire others through his daily habit of saving energy.
After the speech sessions were over a seminar on "Energy Conservation Day" was presented by Gowri S.L . After which came a documentary mainly produced by Sidharth S M called "Oorj Documentary".With the conclusion of the documentary a Quiz session conducted by Sidharth S M called "Oorj Quiz". After the quiz a game session was conducted which accompanied by a dance programme.
After the lunch an exhibition was conducted. It was inaugurated by Kiranlal sir. The exhibition contained many interesting experiments , charts, working models, still models and other items. It was a both informative and curiosity making event.
After the programme ended a review session was conducted the next day. Then the gifts for the quiz , games and poster making competition were given. The programme was a grand success.
